Who is my Neighbor? Peace Camp

Being a neighbor means seeing God living in each of us, appreciating all the gifts our neighbors share with us and all the gifts we can share with them. Our neighbors have many different stories, beliefs and traditions, and God loves every one of us.  We will have a fun time learning about our neighbors through games and activities as we practice sharing love and hospitality with each other.  Ages 5-18.

Why Peace Camp?
Peace Camp focuses on putting our faith in action.  Through a variety of activities, we practice skills such as being aware of ourselves, empathy, disagreeing respectfully, and conflict resolution tools.  We want to help kids learn to be peacemakers in their families, communities, and the world.  Peace Camp is not about specific religious teachings.

July 29-31, 6-8:30pm at St. John’s Lutheran Church
