The Congregation of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Miamisburg is pleased to announce the return of the Dayton Tamil Academy to St Johns. The Tamil Academy Language school teaches students ranging in ages from pre-school through high school, and will be meeting in our teaching facilities most Saturday Mornings from 10:30 am-12:30 pm local time beginning October 2023 through late April 2024.
Did you know that the Tamil Language is one of the oldest languages on the planet, with the earliest written forms dating back to ~3,000 BCE? As Miamisburg has a thriving Tamil community, we are pleased to partner with the Dayton Tamil Academy, and their charter to keep alive their rich written and oral language and traditions.
